High Aspirations was contacted when Shohola Township, the PA Office's local government, was looking to replace an unresponsive web designer. While researching the site to provide a quote on the project, it was determined that at some point the site had been hacked and hidden in the code were links to overseas drug sites! High Aspirations was contracted to move the site to a new host, get access to the domain name and place it in control of the client, go through the site with a fine-tooth comb to clean-up anything that looked "off" and re-organize the existing content while maintaining the site's design and layout, update all the software used on the site to prevent future security holes, and provide the client with an on-site lesson on how to use their WordPress powered site. The newly cleaned-up and secure web site went live on October 23, 2010 and the client has been happily adding content since.
With the assistance of a grant received from the Upper Delaware Council, Shohola Township requested a complete redesign of their website in November 2011. They wanted a whole new look - the only thing to stay would be the Township Seal and the photo of the Township Building. New features were added to the site including a brand new events calendar! And, the Township made the leap into social media with it's own Facebook Fan Page that automatically publishes whatever is posted to their blog! The redesigned website went live on May 17, 2012. This is what the site looked like before the redesign.
