For those of you considering the purchase of a new PC, but undecided on whether or not you should get one with Microsoft Windows XP or Vista, your deadline to make that decision has been extended.
Customers have been slow to upgrade to Vista, preferring to stick with XP or purchase new PCs with XP installed. Because of this, Microsoft has decided to extend the time they will allow original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and retail outlets to sell PCs with Windows XP installed. OEMs and retailers now have until June 30, 2008 to continue to sell XP and XP installed machines.
