Tech Talk’s New Look

Well Marilyn and I have done it again!

I know, you aren’t really all that surprised! Over the weekend, we put our new version of Tech Talk live. We really hope you like it as much as we do. We just think it’s fun and it goes along with what we originally envisioned Tech Talk to be. When we were deciding on a name for our blog, we joked around about Coffee Talk, that SNL skit, and so Tech Talk was born. So when we found this theme by Roam2Rome with it’s coffee cup we knew it was perfect for us, with a little tweaking of course. The original theme screen shot is on the right and even though it’s a small image, it’s pretty easy to see what we changed. We went with the pink mouse, our only girlie concession, and away went the Mac looking keyboard. No offense to Mac users but as we’ve long since established, we prefer an old clicky keyboard and if you haven’t a clue what we’re talking about, visit Ma’s ClickClickClick… post.

Then, the phone on the desk needed work. An HAI Tech Talk version of our mountain logo (yes, we love our mountains around here!), which is a link to Tech Talk’s main page, was added. We also added a tagline, motto, whatever you want to call it. That motto has quickly become a favorite around here because it is so us!

Our final tweak was to give our desk theme a proper desk to sit on, a nice wooden one, and so a background was created. And, that, dear clients and friends, is the last of our geekie rambling on the wonders of our new Tech Talk theme. So with all that said and done, we leave you with a line from the skit that inspired our blog’s name … “[we're] a little verklempt. Talk amongst yourselves.”
