Lenovo Recalls ThinkVision Speaker AC Adaptors Due to Shock Hazard

The plastic shell of the AC Adaptor used with ThinkVision Soundbars can crack which poses a risk of electric shock to consumers. The recalled adaptors are FRU part number 89P8571 with date code 200810.

Contact Lenovo to receive a free replacement.

The CPSC (U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission) web site contains the complete recall notice which includes a product image.
