Marilyn and I know that some of our clients use Sony computers, so when we came across this recall notice, we thought we should let everyone know.
The recall affects the Sony VGP-AC19V17 AC adapter. The insulation inside the AC adapter can fail which poses an electrical shock hazard to consumers. The adapters were sold with All-in-one VAIO Desktop Computers VGC-LT series and VGC-JS2 series VAIO Docking Stations VGP-PRBX1 and VGP-PRFE1. Contact Sony for a free replacement.
