Google has updated its algorithm, this time targeting exact match domains.
What is an exact match domain or EMD? It is a domain name made up of keywords that the owner thinks people will search for. For example, instead of highaspirationsinc.com, my URL would be something like best-web-site-design-services.com.
Pete Prestipino, Website Magazine‘s Editor-In-Chief, says:
With some confidence, and I say this only after giving Google a week or two to fine tune its changes, that the use of Exact Match Domains carries far less weight than it used to.
