avast! Antivirus, my personal antivirus software of choice, published a blog post today entitled "A Winter Flurry of Email Scams" that I thought worthy of sharing.

avast! is warning that there are three types of holiday-related email scams making the rounds: Charity scams, UPS delivery scams, and E-card scams.

Avoid getting ripped off… read all about it.

We’ve been getting more and more requests lately asking how clients can setup their email accounts on their mobile devices. Since this seems to be a hot topic lately, we thought we’d share these instructions with everyone so you don’t have to wait to ask us!

Clients whose sites are on HAI Hosting, can use the following instructions for:

• iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch
• BlackBerry
• Android

For devices not listed here, follow these general mobile device instructions.

If you aren’t sure if your site is on HAI Hosting, just check your pop and smtp servers. If they include "secureserver" then you are!

All these links have been added to the Client Section’s Email Setup Tutorials page as well so they will be there when you need them.
