I’ve been a fan of Plagiarism Today for a while now and here’s what author Jonathan Bailey has to say about Pinterest’s recently announced Analytics:
Whether you think it’s for good or ill, there’s a good chance your content has a much wider audience on Pinterest than the analytics say. The problem is that, without watermarking, it’s an audience that can’t find its way back to you.
My opinion you wonder? Well, I agree with him. The Pinterest Analytics are lacking, but they are all we’ve got for now so do with them what you can.

I do like the larger images and the changes in menu and navigation don’t bother me at all. What I don’t like is:
When I pin, it no longer has the option of sharing the pin on Twitter. I don’t know if it has the option to share on Facebook because I was testing with High Aspirations, Inc.’s Pinterest account which, because it is a company, connects to Pinterest via Twitter and not a personal Facebook account. See the screenshot.
If any of the images on my website aren’t the size Pinterest prefers, it is now picking a color from the image and filling in the background. Sounds OK right? Well, I think it looks terrible. See the screenshot and judge for yourself.I’ve switched High Aspirations, Inc.’s Pinterest account back to the old look. I hope Pinterest fixes this stuff before they force us all to go live with the New Look.
Just one Web Chick’s opinion. You are entitled to your own and are welcome to let me know what it is via a comment.
