The FBI is warning of a new internet scam that results when the Reveton virus, classified as malware, infects a machine. This “drive-by” virus is installed by just visiting an infected website. It will show a warning supposedly from the FBI stating that you have been caught, lock up your machine, and may even access your webcam to show “proof” of the illegal activity.

Oracle has released an update to Java Version 7 which addresses the vulnerabilities reported yesterday. This is a high priority release and Java users should update their versions as soon as possible.
