Marilyn received a call from a guy saying he was from “Windows.” This helpful fellow told Marilyn that her computer has been sending them error messages and after running through his little spiel, asked if she was in front of her computer so he could check some settings.

The FBI is warning of a new internet scam that results when the Reveton virus, classified as malware, infects a machine. This “drive-by” virus is installed by just visiting an infected website. It will show a warning supposedly from the FBI stating that you have been caught, lock up your machine, and may even access your webcam to show “proof” of the illegal activity.
